AIR FOX has come a long way !
Without doubt the painting that made me learn the most. It was mistakenly exhibited too early at the SIAC in Marseille last March, and was therefore subjected to the wind of criticism:
“Too bland, something missing, not enough contrast…”.
I took these observations as indicators of improvement and the ‘questioning’ buoy helped me to keep my senses above water.
Questioning is important and the inspiration comes back on its own with new perspectives.
My visit to Franck Gehry’s magnificent vessel at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Boulogne Billancourt inspired AIR FOX with a very airy, openwork and unstructured painting.
