Half Guera One

The writings of Kattia and Maurice KRAFFT, both passionate volcanologists, who tragically disappeared in 1991 on Mount Unzen in Japan, gave the artist a fascination for volcanism which led him to use volcanic rock on the work.

Rock taken during the ascent of Puy Lassolas & La vache in the Massif Central at the top of the craters was a sporting challenge and an innovation in the use of this “Devil’s Earth” for HALF GUERA ONE.
It is a beautiful encounter between the animal and the mystery hidden in the world of volcanoes.
